Truck-mounted hot-water extraction for wall-to-wall carpet in Lowcountry homes and offices. From $65 per room.
Carpet in the Lowcountry works hard. Humidity keeps soil damp and sticky, sand tracks in from the beach and the driveway, and pollen settles into the pile every spring. A household vacuum lifts the loose surface layer, but the abrasive grit that actually wears out the fibers sits down near the backing where a vacuum cannot reach.
We clean with truck-mounted hot-water extraction, the method carpet mills recommend and the one most warranties require. The carpet is pre-inspected, dry-vacuumed, pre-conditioned with a pH-correct solution matched to the fiber, agitated so the solution reaches the base of the pile, then flushed and extracted at high pressure. Traffic lanes and spots get a second pass before we groom the pile and set up air movers.
Most rooms are dry to the touch in four to six hours. We move light furniture as part of the price, put protective blocks and tabs under the legs of anything with a finish that can bleed, and walk the job with you before we pack up.
