Hand-detailed cleaning for staircases, landings and high-traffic hallways. From $3.50 per stair.
Stairs take more abuse per square foot than any other carpet in a house. Every step lands on the same few inches of the tread, the nose takes the scuff, and the riser catches everything that gets kicked. A wand cannot reach any of it properly.
We clean stairs by hand with a stair tool, working tread, riser and nose separately so the edges and corners get the same attention as the middle. Pre-spray dwells long enough to break down the compacted soil in the traffic pattern, then each step is flushed and extracted individually.
Hallways get the same treatment along the edges and against the baseboards, where soil filtration lines build up as air is pulled through the carpet. Those grey lines along the wall are not permanent in most cases, and we treat them as part of the job.
